Async 4Track Looper for Move

$0.00

an asynchronous, four-track looper for Ableton Move in RNBO Takeover mode

each track offers tape-style variable speed recording, playback, and overdubbing. while a global rate control defines the base playback speed of the loopers, each track can be independently scaled from 0.5x to 2x playback speed, with intermediary steps available to transpose by fifths or octaves. loops can also be flipped into reverse on a per-track basis, and a global tape warble parameter imparts pitch flutters inspired by the catching movement of real tape

though this patch is a tape-inspired looper, aspects of its digital nature are embraced with love. lower speeds introduce aliasing and artifacts into the sound, while an additional redux parameter applies bit reduction to incoming signals before they’re captured into the recording buffer

in addition to the basic looper function, each track also offers a recordable “cut” buffer, allowing you to sequence slices of the loop

this free download is a RNBO package file that can be uploaded to an Ableton Move via the RNBO Web Interface. please see the documentation on the Cycling ‘74 website here for instructions

by default, this looper will process external audio and pass it to the output (watch your volume if using Move’s internal microphone + speakers!). however, individual inputs are available for each looper channel within the graph UI of the RNBO Web Interface
